power steering conversion 72 ford econoline??????

anybody know what to do as far as converting my 72 Ford Supervan to Power Steering????
is it possible?

The best way to do this is to find a complete donor van, and plan on having the hydraulic ram rebuilt as you make the swap.

Yep, it's very doable - a bolt up if you have the parts. Econovanman is right, you need a donor vehicle, or a friend with a donor vehicle.

Randy (Ecumsecumguy) has done this very job and can offer guideance.

yep, its very doable. I bought a Chateau donor van to convert my shorty to have a power steering... I had a shop do mine. Only thing that i suggest you buying is a brand new pump and hose, those are inevitable to reuse due to age. I recall my shop tearing down the whole front of both of my vans end to do that job, lots of work as it looks like.
