I saw this listed this morning on Ebay and was amazed. It is listed as a 69 but it is for a later model with both oil pressure and DC gauge. It is absolutely new. Starting bid is $30! Somebody grab this.

Ferrari 365 V12 engine

This is a rare handcrafted wooden Ferrari V12 engine. The entire engine, including the manifold is handcrafted out of wood. The engine is based on the Ferrari 365GTB V12 engine. It's about the same size as the original engine and weights about 25kg or 50lbs.
The engine is in Sydney, Australia. I prefer pickup but can have it ship anywhere in the world if desire. If you are in Sydney, inspection welcomes.
Please ignore the shipping cost below as it is grossly inaccurate.

If that engine overheated it will catch fire. Then if it's cooled by water it will put itself out.

You're right, John. I really feel like I've been living in the Twighlight Zone. I never in all my dreams (or nightmares) expected to spend more than $10,000 on a vehicle, or $15,000 max for a souped-up, show-winning van. $12 grand for that sweet seafoam green van might seem like a lot (and it isn't cheap), but I'll have way over 3 times that much in my blue 74 before it even hits the boat bound for Europe.

Anyone want to go in on the 74 in Minneapolis? It was listed for 800 a year ago, non running due to electical issues. Seems sorted out now at a wrecking yard. Owner seems open to offers. I am dying to get the interior. Partner, anyone? Matt in Reno
