Never did care for those visors. I wouldn't want to add something like that to a vehicle that already has the aerodynamics of a brick.
Besides, it would cut down on forward, looking up, vision.'What's that way up on the side of that mountain?' I did buy a spoiler once, they actually help aerodynamics, but I changed my mind & never used it. I probably would have just ripped it of while going down some jeep trail. |

the visor on this van is what I want instead of the flat one that hugs the windshield. I have driven hundreds of mile in these vans and the more sun I can keep out the better as I have a condition which sun worsens skin cancer growth

They have 100% UV protection film that goes on glass, maybe you could use this in conjunction with a visor. -------------------- |

QUOTE (JKLNHYD) Sell that spoiler to someone that will use it. I would sell it, but who would want to pay the freight from Alaska? Would probably cost more than it's worth, whatever that is.Since I am finally working towards getting two 1/2 way decent vans in commission maybe I'll get around to using it yet. Yeah, Mitch, that is a bummer. Sometimes we don't realize how well off we are. It's the luck of the draw. |

Mitch, I hope you're taking vitamin D. The double edged sword of skin cancer is that people who have it will avoid the sun. UV radiation is required for your body to create Vitamin D, which is needed to absorb Calcium. If you don't get enough sun, you will not be able to absorb calcium from your food, and will have bone loss.
My father was first diagnosed with skin cancer in 1986 and has had dozens of surgeries over the years. He only learned about the vitamin D about 8 years ago when he was diagnosed as borderline on osteoporosis. Just a heads up on an issue that dermatologists don't seem to have the sense to warn their patients about. Marlon -------------------- 1974 Club Wagon Chateau, Brook Blue Metallic over Wind Blue. Marlon Cool, Thanks I was just telling my wife the other day that I do not like to drink much milk unless it is whole with Vitamin D. due to taste. maybe my body is just saying it wants the Vitamin D.
