That's were we all will be living if we do not spend a little quality time with our significant others and spend too much time on our vans. But if you don't have a significant other, you can do anything you want (with in the law).

Does anyone have a doghouse plastic cover for the interior part of the doghouse for sale? Some one drilled about 15 holes in it. I suppose I could fill in each hole and then paint it. It's a 72 house. Thanks and Later...

This is as close as my girl gets to the dog House. Glad the back seat folds down.

I thought this was a big improvement. More useable space & stuff like coffie cups or whatever doesn't slide off.

...1/4" plywood screwed to the doghouse with an aluminum surround & some plastic door edge trim on the top edge works great.

That's not a bad idea Tom. I'll have to think about that fit. When I took the original carpet off of the house I see that it is a specially formed piece there. Your idea will allow a flat piece of carpet to go on and then the rough edges can be covered up. I like that radio dash piece because it matches the instrument cluster. That passenger dash crash pad looks in good shape there. Later...

Another question about hound dog houses. What has any one used for weather stripping around their doghouse? I have extra door, weather stripping. Will that hold up to the heat etc? Any opinions. Thanks. Later...

... original carpet ...specially formed piece ...

FYI, the lower piece of carpet on the doghouse is just a flat piece. Went on & fit just fine, much better than I expected. Think I held it on with a very few screws & glue. Not sure anymore about even using the glue.
As far as the weatherstrip goes, I don't think it's anything special. I have never replaced any.

XMan: That is a great question. You know if an outfit would make an exact reproduction of that bugger I'd bet almost everyone on this site would buy one. I know not long ago someone was saying they were trying an offering from a certain company for the Dog House Seal but I never heard anymore of it. I'll see if I can find that post..........
