My 73 has original AC in it and I am thinking of pulling it out. Since I live in Southern California it is really unnecessary and I want to re-claim the floor space where the blower box is.
My questions are this:
- How rare are these things?
- If they are rare, should I keep it and store the parts just in case I change my mind?
- Are other vanners interested in buying these systems?
- If I were to sell it, what is a fair price?
I am planning to re-purpose the compressor for an on-board air system so I am just talking about the blower, hoses, control box behind the driver seat, and the plenum and vents.

I gave away all that stuff out of one Chateau i parted out. I have that system in two other Chateau vans and while I'm keeping the system and plumbing intact, I don't plan on using it in either van, and might eventually remove the box that is mounted to the floor. I'd imagine this set up would be valuable for a collector, so might as well hang on to it even if you remove it. Especially the air ducting and mounting strips underneath.

I am doing a bunch of work on the van over the holidays and plan to get the AC bits uninstalled. I will inventory everything and post the details. If one of you is still interested we can work something out.
