Hey gang... Check out this link and tell me what ya think.. Hey,,, that rhymed.. cool.gif .. Have a look at the "Metallic chrome paints".

Alsa Corp (paints and additives)

Don't know bout you,,, but me thinks that a steel grill could be made to look pretty darn good with the "mirror chrome" stuff.

This paint is cool and all but its illegal to some states to paint a whole car with it. Using it for the grill of the 2nd gens are a good option if chroming it are costly.

Hey there Cloudy. Good to hear from you again...

I guess that stuff isn't all that great after all. I think the only videos I saw of it being sprayed, were being done with a regular spray gun.. Not a spray can. Either way,, I sure wouldn't spend that kind of money on something like that.

hey , there is a powder coat that is pretty darn close to chrome, I think that would be a great solution for steel grills. check with your local powder coating co. to see color chips, I have used it on motorcycle parts, and it looks great. smile.gif
