OK, many moons ago I found this board in hopes of selling my middle brothers 1974 2nd generation van. Since then I have been a member just to hang out and meet some great people here. Well my middle brother is now back in the market to buy another van, Roger he may have signed up already here for the board but I am not sure. In any case he is looking for a van that is more on the done side than a project, so anyone that has something to offer post some info and pictures and we will see if anything looks good to him. Thanks for your help in advance, John
Roger

Welcome to him! I hope he finds an appropriately cool van! (shouldn't be that hard since they're all cool...) smile.gif

How about Grant's van, now in Tucson?

Cool! You're the guy who was selling that green/white van on ebay a couple of times! I linked that auction here at least twice because I thought it was a killer van. And you could see one more old Ford van in the background! What happened to those sales? Non-paying bidders?

Yes, non paying bidders allrght, mostly due to the fact that the "buyer" was in eastern europe and was just a scam artist , mad.gif (i hope he gets coverd with boils) ebay can be a tricky place to do business. I have bought lots of great deals on ebay however so I suppose it cant be all bad. Recent changes to ebay have made it lots harder to do business they now require that every new bidder use paypal, and I do not take paypal , so it is a bit of a conundrum. dry.gif but ebay is still a good source for nos parts.

Well, now, that's a bummer. I'm sorry to hear it. I wonder how a person can profit by bidding on something he doesn't plan to pay for? I also don't use paypal and can't figure out why ebay forces people to go that route now. Is it for every new account? Because I always ask the seller in advance if he'll take cash and so far haven't had any troubles, but I won't use paypal as a buyer, and have never sold anything via ebay before. Anyway, sorry to hear of your troubles. I thought your van was really cool and even considered buying it myself but bought a different one instead. But for me it's all very complicated, since I too live in Eastern Europe... LOL.

I still have a solid 69 E 200 supervan, that I would sell. It has a solid california body. But there is some rust in the doors, and the interior is missing. Roger has seen the van, and could vouch for the condition of the body. I drove it home from Ionia to Muskegon Mi.
I have been collecting parts and have a mint doghouse cover, and and insulated thing that wraps around the entire doghouse, mint knee pad and arm rests, all in matching blue.. Also some extra 302's edelbrock intakes (2) mallory dizzy, and some other goodies.
I could make you a good deal if interested? And NOOOO I will NOT sell any of the parts seperate !
I will try and bump my ad to the front page.
